This beautiful family was SO much fun to photograph. I like to have a little fun during my sessions and take silly photos every once in a while… theirs is just too cute! We even got some lovey-dovey photos of mom and day, AND incorporated dad’s bronco! Their maternity session was in March, and now they have an adorable baby brother to show off. This fun family has experienced so many important changes in their lives recently, including moving into their new home as shown in the photos below. And they are still expecting one last little bundle of perfection in January. They will be welcoming another beautiful little lady to the family! During their family maternity session they all made silly faces every time I took a test shot. So much fun, and of course they will make for some great framers…LOL. Even the pretty little ones below had a good time sassing for the camera. I love that you can just see the silly sisterly love in their photos, and definitely look forward to adding another to the mix during their newborn session! I’m grateful to have the opportunity to photograph/document their beautiful family during such a wonderful time of transition!

Announcement Mini Session to announce the great news to all their family and friends in July. Last month they had an adorable “Little Man” Baby Shower, and below are some of the beautiful photos from their recent Maternity Session. We even already have several really cute ideas lined up for his newborn session. Llike mom and dad, I cannot WAIT to meet the handsome little guy! Anyone who knows the Anderson’s know that they spend most their free time on Lake Travis, so there was no question where their maternity session was going to be. Little Braxton is so excited about meeting his new baby sister soon, and he did awesome for her maternity photos. We may or may not have bribed him with Skittles (which he kept tucked away in his back pocket and kindly shared on occasion…lol), but he gave mom and her belly lots of kisses! You can tell from my work that I am a sucker for sunset silhouettes, but I absolutely ADORE their lakeside photos. It may have tired dad out a bit, but Braxton loved to ‘fly’ so we could get some great shots! I had that particular shot in mind way before the session even started, and I’m SO glad that I was able to capture such a special moment of their growing little family. I’m beyond eager to meet little Miss Faith soon!
This stunning momma-to-be contacted me and wanted to have classy, artsy maternity boudoir photos taken of her little prego belly. Yes, I say little because I actually had to make her poke her belly out in some of the photos! One petite and pretty momma. She’ll definitely have several options for the large black and white prints that she hoped to get from the session. We captured lots of great stuff… her hot little belly, her honey, her cute little pup, and even some killer sunset silhouette belly shots from the top floor of the tallest building in Austin! I can’t wait to take her precious little baby girl’s newborn photos in October. There is no doubt in my mind that Ayden will be both precious and little!
Continuing on yesterday evening’s blog post, Momma Hart’s second photography session a maternity boudoir photo shoot. We each had a vision of capturing some really classy/sexy images, and we did just that. The female body is extremely fascinating during pregnancy, and she really wanted to capture and embrace this special time of her life. The colors were simply perfection, but I actually ended up making lots of her photos black and white. There was something so stunning, pure and classic about them… I just couldn’t resist. Baby Quinn should be making his grand entrance in the near future, so be sure to keep an eye out for his newborn photos on the blog!
As soooon as Julie found out she was expecting their second little blessing, she contacted me about taking professional maternity and newborn photos for her here in Austin. It was incredibly flattering to say the least, and of course I was very grateful/eager to do so. We had quiet a while to brainstorm, and came up with SO many cute ideas that she actually booked two different sessions to be sure we had plenty of time to capture everything! These photos from her first session, are of her good looking/growing family. The beautiful and colorful decor out at The Oasis on Lake Travis suited them perfectly. Especially since there are so many cute spots! We had a location attention span max of about 5 clicks because her little man Miller was on the run…lol. But he was such a sweetheart, the little ladies man even gave his mom a little flower! He’s going to have so much fun when Baby Quinn arrives soon and gets big enough to play. Momma Hart will definitely have her hands FULL with all her boys!
This July the Ducote’s made the big announcement that they are expecting their first baby! Now they are very excited to share the news that they are having a precious little boy. Since they booked both their maternity and newborn sessions with Savvy Images, they scored a free announcement mini session! And to break the great news to their family and friends, they shared some of the photos taken below. ..How exciting is that!?! I even designed the cute collage at the very bottom of this post for each of them to use as their Facebook profile photos. You can expect to see their maternity session towards the end of the year, and sometime in January little Mr. Carter Andrew will be making his debut into our lives (and on the blog in his newborn photos)!! Keep an eye out for some major cuteness.
So I normally don’t edit my professional photos to be black and white, but there was just something about Becky and Thomas’ maternity session on the Austin Greenbelt that compelled me to do so. The water, the baby bump, nature, a combination of many great things, and a little slice of heaven here in Austin. And after all that greatness, we finished up their maternity photos on the overlook at 360 Bridge with an awesome view and some killer post sunset silhouettes. They are such a cute couple and I have no doubt they’ll be passing those great genes right on along to their precious baby girl. I look forward to meeting her for her newborn photo shoot later in August!
This maternity photo session was a never ending belly session in such a GOOD way! We ventured around Old Town Spring outside of Houston and kept finding such wonderful spots to take beautiful maternity photos. We had a great time, the weather was only a tad bit hot, and Lindsey (glowing and gorgeous) unintentionally styled their outfits to fit the many scenes perfectly! I just love it when a session works itself out so nicely! The Pixler’s are expecting their first little bundle in August, and I can’t wait to meet their mini-man Jack for his first baby photo shoot!
Little McKinley kept us on our toes during this session. She had a great time singing her A,B,C’s when we spelled out her soon-to-be baby sisters name. She loved checking out the flowers, ants, and all the dogs passing by on their morning walks. Towards the end of our session, we quickly decided to start trading smiles for snacks (my kind of little lady!). She is such a smart and curious little one, and as of Friday night is a big sister! The Irvin family welcomed their precious new addition, Sawyer Grace on Friday night. Here’s a glimpse into their maternity session, and their newborn photos won’t be too far behind…
This momma-to-be of TWINS is a momma with a vision. Her only request was that we did her belly session somewhere that screams “we’re having these babies here in Austin”. So after getting some great outdoors shots, we headed to the most iconic spot possible… The Capitol of Texas! And then we finished up with some fun shots at a local book store for a little something different. It was such a cute session and I can’t wait to meet Drake and Dylan for their first photo shoot!
